How Idea Launch works — two paths for founders testing ideas or launching traffic to a live product, plus pricing, setup, and what you get back.

Choosing your path
What are the two ways to use Idea Launch?
Idea Launch supports two distinct starting points. Most founders fit one or the other:
- Validate your idea — for a market read before you overcommit. You send a raw idea, a new angle, or an existing page you want pressure-tested. You get signups, conversion rate, and a recommended next move: build, refine, retest, or walk away. See the validation path.
- Launch ads fast — for a live product you already shipped. You point us at your URL and offer; we launch creative, targeting, tracking, and a real campaign so traffic hits something you are already selling. See the launch path.
We handle creative, targeting, tracking, and ad setup on both paths. You do not need your own Meta, Instagram, or Reddit ad accounts for either one.
What runs behind the scenes on both paths?
The same thing: an Ad Run. Whether you start from Validate your idea or Launch ads fast, we run managed paid traffic — creative, targeting, tracking, and launch — through our Ad Run infrastructure. The paths differ in where you start and what the readout emphasizes, not in what actually runs behind the scenes.
Pricing
How much does Idea Launch cost?
One Ad Run is $49. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You only pay when you are ready to run a test, and you can buy additional Ad Runs any time.
Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
No. There is no monthly plan, no contract, and no seat licensing. You buy Ad Runs when you want to test something and stop whenever you want.
What exactly is an Ad Run?
An Ad Run is one managed experiment for a single idea. We take your idea inputs, generate the landing page and ad creative, push a small controlled amount of real paid traffic at it, capture waitlist signups, and return a readout with a clear suggested next move.
Is ad spend included in the $49 price?
Yes. Your Ad Run price covers the full managed experiment — the landing page, creative, tracking, the Meta traffic we buy on your behalf, and the readout. You will not be billed separately by a platform like Meta. You do not need a credit card on file with any ad network.
For signal-integrity reasons, end-user screens never display spend figures. You will see results through metrics like click-through rate, landing-page conversion rate, signup volume, and a validation score — the numbers that actually help you decide what to do next.
Do Ad Runs expire?
No. Ad Runs you have purchased stay on your account until you use them.
Can I buy more than one Ad Run at a time?
Yes. You can purchase additional Ad Runs whenever you want — either to re-test the same idea with a different angle, audience, or landing page, or to test a new idea entirely.
Ad setup
Do I need a Meta or Facebook Ads account?
No. That is the whole point. You do not need a Meta Business Manager, an ad account, billing on Meta, a verified domain, a Pixel, or a Conversions API setup. We run the ads for you from our managed infrastructure.
Do I need my own Facebook Page, pixel, or Business Manager?
No. You do not need to create or connect a Facebook Page, wire up a pixel, configure events, set up billing, verify a domain, or go through any of the Meta setup that usually takes founders days. We handle the Page identity, the tracking layer, and the measurement plumbing internally.
Where do you run the ads — which platforms?
We can run your validation ads on Facebook, Instagram, or Reddit. Each one reaches a different kind of stranger, so the right channel depends on your idea. You can choose the platform and audience yourself if you have a strong instinct, or you can let us find the best fit for your idea.
Either way, you do not need a separate ad account on any of them — no Meta Business Manager, no Instagram-connected Page, no Reddit advertising account. We handle the accounts, targeting, tracking, and execution on every channel for you. See where to run validation ads for how we match an idea to the right place.
What do I actually have to provide?
The idea itself and a bit of shape around it — who it is for, the problem, the offer angle, the desired action, and a rough audience and geography. Our system uses that to draft the landing page, ad copy, and image direction. You can review and adjust messaging before the run starts.
How long does it take to launch?
Once you finalize your idea inputs and messaging, experiments are launched within minutes and results land in roughly 24 to 72 hours — days, not weeks.
Can I control the targeting and creative?
Yes, at the levels that actually matter for a clean signal — idea, destination, headline, primary text, description, image direction, audience, budget, and geography. Operational details like campaign structure, placement, bidding, and safety auto-stops are held to conservative defaults so experiments stay comparable and you stay out of Ads Manager.
What you get
What do I get for my money?
For one Ad Run you get a full managed experiment, including:
- An AI-generated landing page built for your idea.
- AI-generated ad creative — headline, primary text, description, and image direction — which you can review and edit.
- Real paid traffic pushed to that page through our managed Meta setup. No ad account required on your side.
- Tracking, attribution, and waitlist signup capture wired up for you.
- A clear readout with the key signal metrics, a validation score, and a recommended next move.
What metrics will I see in the readout?
Signal-quality metrics such as click-through rate, landing-page conversion rate, waitlist signup volume, and a validation score — along with an interpretation of what the numbers likely mean and a suggested next step. We deliberately leave out spend-denominated metrics so the read focuses on whether strangers care.
How fast do I get results?
Typically within 24 to 72 hours after the run starts. You will see live progress during the experiment and a final readout once it completes.
Will Idea Launch "validate" my idea?
We are honest about what a small paid experiment can and cannot do. One Ad Run tells you how strangers responded to a specific message, offer, and landing experience — not whether the entire business will succeed. The readout is a grounded signal to help you decide whether to keep pushing, test a new angle, or move on. That is far more than most founders have before they start building.
What kinds of ideas work best?
Right now we focus on indie founders testing SaaS and app ideas. That is a deliberately narrow wedge so experiments are standardized, comparable, and cleanly measurable. Offers outside that scope may not be supported yet.
What happens after the run ends?
You keep the readout, the landing page history, and the waitlist emails captured during the experiment. From there you can act on the next-step recommendation — test another angle, interview signups, double down, or walk away — and buy another Ad Run whenever you are ready.
